Movie Review
"Rear Window"
Everyone,in the environment of Jeff seems to have a thing in common: love. The lonely woman who prepares meticulously her rare dates, the dancer admired by all the men,the newly-weds...
Everyone?
Jeff,a photograph who is confined at home because of a broken leg, hasn't got any other distraction than looking his neighbours attend to their affairs, and quickly,he starts suspecting the man opposite of a murder.he's convinced that this man killes his wife but everyone around him is sure that he invented this incredible story because he was bored.
Everyone?
Lisa,a charming aristocrat, who wants to marry Jeff,in spite of the difference of social levels and ways of life,is ready to believe him...
Personnally,I love this film because I think it's an original way to treat the topic of the witness in detec tive film.
I also like Jeff's personnality. He's extremely free and independent,he doesn't care about public opinion...He's such a child,in a way.He refuses to see things as they are.
And finally,I think it's great that there is so many feminine figures in the film(Lisa,Stella...).Furthermore,they are courageous and intelligent.
  1. What about you?Have you ever seen this film?

Everyone surrounding Jeff seems to have one thing in common: love. A lonely woman who prepares meticulously for her rare dates, a dancer admired by men, and a couple of newlyweds. Does everyone? Jeff, a photographer who is confined at home because of a broken leg doesn't have any other distraction other than looking at his neighbors attending to their affairs, and soon he starts to suspect a man of murder. He is convinced that this man killed his wife, but everyone around him is sure that he invented this outrageous story because he is bored. But does everyone believe that he is lying? Lisa, a charming aristocrat, wants to marry Jeff in spite of the difference of social levels and ways of life and is ready to believe him. Personally I love this film because I think it is an interesting way to treat the topic of a witness in a detective film. I also like Jeff's personality, he is extremely free and independent and doesn't care about public opinion. He is like a child in a way, he refuses to see things as they are. FInally, I think it's great that there are so many feminine figures in the film (Lisa and Stella). Furthermore they are courageous and intelligent. I have never heard of this film, except for now after reading this. You did a very good job of writing this, sorry if I was a bit too nit picky in my corrections.
